2016 Community Building Partnership Grants

In 2015, Scouts Australia NSW had 42 projects approved through the NSW Government's Community Building Partnership Grants. $436,668.00 dollars of funding supported capital works programs for Groups, Districts and Regions for much needed repairs to Scout Properties. Scouts Australia NSW is grateful for this funding.

On 13 June 2016, the NSW government opened a new round (Round VIII) of funding. Grant funding of up to $200,000 is available for every electoral district with an additional $100,000 for the forty eight electorates previously identified with higher unemployment rates.

The closing date for the grant program is Friday 22 July, 2016.


Process for Scout Groups to apply:

This is a great opportunity for Scout Groups, Campsites and Activity Centres to apply for much needed funding that will not only make a direct impact on Scouting but also support local jobs. Please take the time to review the information included here before you submit an application for your Scout Group.

As a first priority, consider completing safety works to your hall to comply with the safety audits.
