|2015 National Tree Day|
Last weekend up to 60 Scouts and Leaders rolled up their sleeves and got their hands dirty for the greater good of the environment on National Tree Day 2015.
Members of the 2nd Mortdale Scout Group and 1st Oatley Bay Scout Group headed over to Peakhurst Park in Southern Sydney on Sunday (July 26), where they planted 250 tree seeds in the shale Cliffs area.
The 35 Scouts and their Leaders did an amazing job and deserve to be congratulated for their efforts to care for the environment within their local community.
This year more than 200,000 people took part in the event at more than 3,000 sites across Australia.
