Come Celebrate 100 Years of Cubs in NSW! Print E-mail

100 Years

On July 31, we will celebrate the exciting Cub Centenary with a lovely afternoon picnic in Sydney. We welcome you to join us!

The day will begin at 10am at Scout Place where everyone will receive instructions for our city-wide observation walk. By noon we'll arrive at Government House for a picnic on the lawns, joined by Chief Scout and Governor of NSW, His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and his wife, Mrs Linda Hurley.

While you are there you will have the opportunity to view some of the interiors of NSW Government House and the gardens.

We will renew our Cub Promise, take part in a Grand Howl and celebrate our birthday with cake and singing.

After lunch, at approximately 2pm, we will continue our observation trail and then head home around 4pm.

We hope to see as many of you as possible as we celebrate our birthday!

Cost will be $6.00 – this includes badge, cake, activities, toilets etc.
