Exciting Opportunity to be part of the Youth Program Review
Scouts NSW is looking for 30 members to be a part of the NSW Facilitating Team for the New Program Concept as part of the Youth Program Review.
This is an important step on the YPR journey, as we share the New Program Concepts with Scout members across NSW and provide them an opportunity to learn about the new concepts and have meaningful opportunities to provide their feedback on the concepts.
Successful participants may be invited to assist with the regional rollout of the New Program Concepts and to support the rollout of the Youth Program across NSW.
You will need to be available during February, March & April to be part of this team (not every weekend).
Facilitating Training Weekend
Training for Facilitators will be 18th & 19th February. At Pennant Hills Scout Centre, Pomona Ave, Pennant Hills. Participants will be required to make their own way to & from Pennant Hills Scout Camp. Accommodation and meals will be provided.
The aim of the weekend will be to provide you with the skills necessary to deliver the YPR New Program Concept Workshop to members of the wider Scouting community. We will demonstrate the workshop and then spend the remainder of the weekend going into greater detail around the key concepts, as well as give you skills and knowledge around facilitation to manage the process successfully.
If you are interested please email Jan Goodall, DCCYP at
stating the reason why you want to be part of the team & your scouting experience by Friday 20 January. Rovers and Young Leaders are encouraged to apply.
