Your Chance to Check Out the Famous Egyptian Room Print E-mail


AJ2016 attendees are in for a real treat as they prepare to embark on a journey to the Petersham Royal Arch Temple on January 9, to discover the secret wonders of The Egyptian Room.

The Egyptian Room, decorated from floor to ceiling with a dazzling array of Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, statuettes and other finishes, is rarely open to the public but this January, its doors are open to Scouts, parents and anyone else who would like to learn more the mysterious meeting hall. Arrangements have been made to bring AJ2016 attendees there and back, and the ticket price of $40 includes travel by bus, buffet dinner and drinks, as well as a special badge to mark the occasion.
