|Graffiti Removal Day Media Launch|
On Thursday (August 27) Graham Madden from 1st Brush Park Rover Crew represented Scouts Australia NSW at the Graffiti Removal Day Media Launch, held at NSW Parliament House.
Graham was joined by members of Girl Guides, police, politicians (including Deputy Premier Troy Grant and Attorney General Gabrielle Upton) and Parramatta Eels star Anthony Watmough, to promote the initiative to the public.
This year, Graffiti Removal Day will be held on Sunday October 18 and everyone is encouraged to get involved by either promoting the day, volunteering or nominating a site.
"The only tag I want to see as we launch this year's Graffiti Removal Day is the hashtag #rolluptorollout and we urge people to spread the word on social media and turn out on 18 October," Mr Grant said.
Graham has already shown dedication to the movement, after cleaning up the vandalised Scout Hall in West Pymble with two other members of his crew.
If you know of any Scout Halls in your area that could do with a scrub up, head over to the Graffiti Removal Day Website, to see how you can get involved.
Alternatively, you can also volunteer to promote the day at train stations at the following locations and times:
