Mount Keira Scout Camp will celebrate the 75th Anniversary of its opening on Saturday, November 7.

The campsite was opened in 1940 by former Governor of NSW, Lord Wakehurst and since then has become a very popular location for Scout Camps and events.

To celebrate this milestone, there will be a range of activities for Youth Members, camp history tours available to the public, as well as morning and afternoon tea.

For any Scouts and Cubs on camp that day, 75th Anniversary badges will be available on site and at the Scout Shop at Port Kembla.

To be a part of the fun, come and join us between 10am and 4.30pm!

Please note: there is no direct access to the Scout Camp due to limited parking. Parking is available in the Edmund Rice College grounds which is situated on the lower part of Mt. Keira road. Buses will run from the college on a half hour basis.

Hope to see you there!
