|Plenty Happening In Camden This Month|

On Sunday 13 December, the last Activity Day of the year was held at the Scouts NSW Air Activity Centre at Camden Airport.
About 30 Scouts from Keiraville and West Wollongong Groups got the opportunity to fly in light aircraft and see many interesting sights around the aerodrome, including the Fire Service helicopters, which share their time between Canada and Australia, and are now here for the Southern Hemisphere summer and fire season.
At the same time, seven students from Sydney high schools were attending a week-long residential flight training course, run by the Centre. The course is an excellent early start to anyone interested in pursuing a career in commerical or military aviation.
