Scout Environment Weeks 2016 Print E-mail

The National Annual Scout Environment Weeks will held over the full Month of September!

Scout Environment Weeks are a simple, yet highly effective concept to encourage Scouts to learn more about our environment and be active locally, whilst working towards some of many environmental Scouts awards.

To participate in Scout Environment Weeks with your local Scout Group there are three simple criteria:

  • Scout Environment Weeks activities are to be conducted within the month of September
  • All participants must complete a minimum of 4 hours which will contain education or training and a practical work component
  • All activities should be conducted within a 50km radius of your formation's regular place of meeting

The 2016 Scout Environment Weeks Badge will be issued following completion of your environmental activity and the State Environment Weeks Activity Registration Form being filled out and sent to the NSW State Office, addressed to Bill Pickering.

All applications close on October 17, 2016.

Upon verification the badges will be forwarded by post to the nominated contact address before November 21, 2016.
