Automated e-mails

For Group Leaders: When a Youth Member is transferred into your Group, you will receive an e-mail notifying you of the pending transfer. When you next log in to ScoutLink, you’ll be able to Accept or Reject the transfer.

For Parents: When your child is transferred to a new Group, an email will be sent to the email address on your child’s records. You will receive the following e-mails:

  • If the “Transfer To” Group is known, you will be notified once the transfer has been accepted by the destination Group
  • If the “Transfer To” Group has not been indicated, you will receive an e-mail requesting you to indicate your intended Group, or whether you would like to resign. The email provides you with a contact email address to provide those details to.
  • After 6 months, the Youth appointment will be resigned and you will receive a ‘Termination of Appointment” email.

Email My Invoice

As a Group Leader / Formation Administration Officer, you can now have your quarterly invoice emailed to you when it is generated.

Go to your Formation Summary, and scroll down to ‘Account Details’. Select the ‘Edit’ button  and once the pop-up opens up, go to the ‘Other’ tab and select ‘Email Invoice’ as indicated below.

Please note that the Invoice will only be sent to you once at the time it is generated – on 1 January, 1 April, 1 July and 1 October respectively.
