There is a wealth of Scouting history being cared for by a team of dedicated volunteers. They are proud to show some of these items in displays and help Scout Groups in researching some facets of their own Group’s history or Scouting history in general. The team produces a small magazine, provides material for the Australian Scout Museum and assists wherever it can. All items such as badges, uniforms, books, photos, albums, Scout diaries, awards, clippings, camp blankets; in fact, anything Scouting have been generously donated over time.
The Memorabilia Team has a mobile display trailer and offers Scout Groups different opportunities for Scout Heritage Days and Displays. The team can attend:
- Group anniversaries
- Scout Group meetings
- District, Region and State events
If you have a keen interest or passion in the collection and management of Scout Memorabilia the team is always happy to welcome volunteers to help with cataloging, research, guides for the museum and general maintenance.
