SUMMARY:Youth Pathway Scouting Essentials Course - Online - 22nd and 29th October
DESCRIPTION:Format: Online Course\nCourse dates: Evening of 22nd and 29th October 2025\nClosing date: 3rd October 2025\nCost: $45 \n  \nThis course is online only and will run from 7pm on 22 & 29 October 2025. You will need to be able to attend both sessions and the cost is $45. Note: This course does not replace the Personal Development Course. \nThis course is designed for experienced Youth members or those that have completed Milestone 2 or 3. \nYou must meet the following 3 pre-requisites BEFORE APPLYING FOR THE COURSE: \n\n\n\nCompleted Scouting Preliminary On Demand Training\nCompleted Scouting Essentials On Demand Training\nYou MUST have either a Queen Scout Award or Kings Scout Award\, or Baden-Powell Scout Award – and be able to provide a photo of you receiving the award\n\n\n\nOR  \n      3. You must be able to submit documents relating to the below: \n\n\n\n\n\nUnderstanding of the Youth Program\n\nCompletion of Milestone 2 or 3\, please supply your Scouts Terrain profile or a signed record book or details of someone that can verify your program experience and the completion of these milestones.\n\n\nUnit management and program delivery\n\nParticipation as a Unit Council member – please supply your Scouts Terrain profile or a signed record book or details of someone that can verify your program experience in a Unit Council\n\n\nRisk assessment and management \n\nHave completed an element of the Achievement Pathway that requires demonstration of risk assessment and management skills – this could be from an Adventurous Journey or a relevant OAS stage.\nOr Can attach evidence of undertaken a risk assessment and developed a risk plan for an activity\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYour application will be assessed and processed individually.
