SUMMARY:H&C Corroboree
DESCRIPTION:The Hunter and Coastal Corroboree is the biggest event in the Hunter and Coastal Region\, held every year in January. \nThis fantastic five day camp is full of fun\, challenging bases and exciting commercial activites\, as well as a Bivouac overnight hike\, where scouts will bring a day pack\, small tarp and poles to sleep in their Hutchie\, which your scout leader can explain more about. \nThe camp is based on the patrol system with Units camping Jamboree style across several sub-camps\, and Scouts and Leaders are fully catered for.  It’s just like a mini-Jamboree. \nScouts will camp in Units made up from their local district. DESCRIPTION:An Australian Jamboree is an experience like no other. The next Australian Jamboree will be held in Maryborough\, Queensland\, from 6th – 15th January 2025. \nJamboree is a camp which is held every three years by Scouts Australia. The Jamboree is traditionally held in early January and typically runs for ten nights. Each Scouting Branch (State) is the effective host of the Australian Jamboree and takes responsibility for its management. DESCRIPTION:The camp runs from Friday evening until 2:00 pm Monday and will be held at Cataract Scout Park near Appin.  This year\, participants will travel through time and experience all the greatest hits of the 20th Century and Beyond.. – Who knows what is around the corner? \nThis camp is open for all Scouts\, Venturers\, Rovers\, Leaders and Cubs from the age of 10 with the approval of Group Council Approval. Units camp in districts and Cubs and Scouts participate in all types of bases run by Venturers\, Rovers and Leaders. Many progression points can be ticked off throughout the camp. Camp on the grounds of Government House\, Canberra\, and embark on an action-packed program of adventure. \n \nGG’s Camp 2024 is a once in a lifetime opportunity\, bringing together everyone from Joey Scouts to Rover Scouts to participate in adventurous\, fun\, challenging and inclusive activities linked to Milestones\, Outdoor Adventure Skills and Special Interest Areas. \nBringing our vision to life\, all participants from Joey Scouts to Rover Scouts will camp together in Units\, supported by adult Leaders. Units will camp together\, eat together\, and support wellbeing together. \nThe Camp will be held Sunday 14th April to Friday 19th April 2024 at Government House Canberra. DESCRIPTION:Rasoree is a two-night camp for all sections where you can have some fun and adventure completing lots of exciting activities and meeting youth members from all over North Coast Region.\nThe camp will have many different activities for Joeys through to Rovers. \nSaturday will offer a range of activities for Joeys through to Rovers. You could be tackling the climbing wall\, racing billy karts around the Eagle Eye Track\, shooting your friends in archery tag\, staying cool in the splash zone and many more exciting activities. \nSaturday night will be the inaugural North Coast Scouts Got Talent followed by a disco. \nSunday morning will be markets\, badge swapping\, and a colour run.

DESCRIPTION:Splashdown was last held in 2018\, and its back by request!\nThis camp is designed to give scouts basic canoe skills – water safety\, paddling strokes and deep-water rescue techniques etc\, in line with requirements for OAS Paddling Level 1-4. \nThis is a fully catered camp so all food and drink will be provided\, this includes – Friday supper (please arrange for your own dinner); – Saturday Breakfast\, MT\, Lunch\, AT\, Dinner; – Sunday Breakfast\, MT\, Lunch. \nThe camp site will be open for set up from 4-00pm Friday\, but please arrange for your own dinner Friday night. \nThe cost also covers camping fee.

The park covers a huge area and boasts a wide array of inflatable fun items for everyone’s enjoyment\, suitable for ages from 7 all the way up to the elderly.\nThe Aqua Park is based on a man made lake sourced from a fresh rain water catchment. This allows Stoney Aqua Park to maintain a safe and controlled environment. No sharks\, guaranteed!! \nSlides\, blast bags\, trampolines\, swings\, challenge tracks\, balance beams\, wobble pads and chill out areas are just a few of the many and varied features enclosed within the extensive walkways and floating tracks of the course. \nOn shore we have extensive shade structures\, BBQ areas that require $2 coins to operate\, change rooms\, picnic benches and sun loungers. A kiosk is provided for your convenience and comfort under the natural shaded environment and white sandy lake front. \nStoney Aqua Park will welcome you for the day or just for a few hours.
