Who can join Scouts?
Boys and girls, young people and all parents are welcome! Scouting has programs catering for youth of all abilities, aged 5 to 25. Click the links below for more information on each Section.

Where are Scouts?

How much does Scouts cost?
There is a one-off joining fee of $60 and a $270 yearly State Membership Fee (from 1 January 2023). In addition, there are some uniform and local Group fees.
How safe is Scouts?
Scouts has set new standards in childcare protection.
- All Scout Leaders are trained by Scouts Australia, a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) since 2003.
- Two or more adult Leaders are present at all Scouts activities.
- At least one person qualified in First Aid is present at all Scouts activities.
- Working with Children Checks are carried out on every adult who applies to become a Leader.
- Working with Children Checks are regularly reviewed.
