Happy Founder’s Day!
February 22 marks the birthday of Lord Robert Baden-Powell, the inspirational founder of Scouts. By creating Scouting, he has created a Movement where youth have the opportunity not only to get outdoors and experience adventure, but to build resilience, learn valuable life skills, develop leadership and engage meaningfully with community.
As Scouts around the world today celebrate Founders Day, they are reminded of the incredible legacy he has given to all of us – of fun, friendship, adventure, personal growth and challenge.
