What inspired you to work with youth members? My father died when I was young and Scout and Venturer Leaders were very supportive of me.

What key thing has a youth member said to you that has stayed with you? Scouting is like being part of family.

Why did you become a Youth Safe Advocate? To gain more knowledge and help support others.

Why is the Youth Safe Advocates scheme important for Scouts NSW? So Scouts NSW can show that it does take a serious duty of care for our youth and that they offer training to support this.

What is the key message you want everyone to remember about the Youth Safe Advocates scheme? That we should all care for and be there to help youth when they are in trouble and in need.
