What inspired you to work with youth members? I started at Leichhardt Scout Group then left and had a family, and it was a good excuse to come back to Scouts.
What key thing has a youth member said to you that has stayed with you? A youth member who attended Cuboree cried every night except the last night where he had fun. He then said it was the best experience ever.
Why did you become a Youth Safe Advocate? To support youth members.
Why is the Youth Safe Advocate scheme important for Scouts NSW? Support is needed.
What is the key message you would everyone to remember about the Youth Safe Advocate scheme? There is always someone to talk to when you don’t feel comfortable.
