Last Month, hundreds of Scouts returned to the bush for the Hunter & Coastal Region Scout Rally at Myuna Bay Scout Camp. The theme was ‘Back to the Past’ with each RAC having different activities reflecting the Rally badge. Over 50 patrols competed at three RAC’s over the weekend which were located several kilometers apart on the shores of Lake Macquarie.
Results at the H&C Region Rally were:
- ‘Keith Evans Shield’ Best Patrol Leader – Esme Rhodes, 1st Avoca Beach.
- ‘Billy Knight Shield’ Winning Patrol – Seekers of the Lost Ark, Kotara.
Patrols with highest scores from competing Districts are as follows:
- HUNTER VALLEY DISTRICT – The Flinstones, East Maitland.
- GOSFORD DSTRICT – The Croods, Kincumber/Bensville.
- LAKE MACQUARIE CITY – Team Cardiff, Cardiff.
- PORT STEPHENS DISTRICT – Nutcrackers, 1st Medowie.
- NEWCASTLE DISTRICT – Seekers of the Lost Ark, Kotara
- MANNING DISTRICT – Sunset 44, 1st Bulahdelah.
- CENTRAL COAST LAKE DISTRICT – Team Turtle, 1st Erina Heights.
