If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then the Aspiring Training Program (ATP) may be for you!
About the Aspiring Training Program:
The program offers coaching, mentoring and formal skills development and is designed to help participants grow personally and professionally in their skills to deliver training and conduct assessments of a variety of Scout Training Curriculums and Programs. The Aspiring Training Program will run until 31 March 2023 and continue to run in 12-month periods thereafter. There is also an opportunity to gain Nationally recognised training outcomes through SAIT if you are interested. Invitations to formally join the National Training Team may be an outcome from the ATP for members who meet all the selection and appointment criteria.
Pre-requisites for submitting an EOI:
- Adult leaders & Rover Scouts - must hold a current Wood Badge and Certificate of Appointment Youth Program Leadership in your current role.
- Venturer Scouts - must be aged 16 or above and have at least 12 months Scouting Experience.
