Brief Summary:
Boree Regatta is a fun weekend for both Girl Guides (from Southern Sydney Rivers Region) and Scouts (from the South Metropolitan Region) to participate in both water and land activities at Bonna Pt Kurnell.
The weekend is open to all age groups to particpate in exciting and entertaining activities. Pre Junior Guides and Joey Scouts events run on Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
Units can particpate in competition events to win prizes and trophies.
Our theme this year is SPACE.! Come dressed in your space theme, decorate your rafts and campsites and enjoy an experience that is out of the this world.
This event also incorporates JOTA (Jamboree of the air) your unit can book in to experience this international Scouting event.

Brief Summary:
Scouts will camp with their Units and be self sufficient over the weekend. Scouts will bring their own food, tents, camping equipment and will need to take their rubbish with them. There will be a number on on site (JOTI, electronics and free time) and off site activities (visits to the Manly Warringah Radio Club and Terrey Hills RFS Station) Scouts and Leaders will walk together to the radio base in Belton Ave & the RFS Station in Yulong Ave.

JOTA/JOTI is an international Scout event, run annually – https://www.jotajoti.info Over the years, this event has evolved on the Northern Rivers to be a major camp – which in addition to amateur radios, and internet chat sessions includes a variety of fun activities – most notably a 50m water slide!

Brief Summary:
JOTA /JOTI – at 1st Port Macquarie Sea Scout Hall, 9 Buller Street, enjoy an afternoon of fun activities and talking to Scouts from all over the world. There will be a BBQ running late in the event. The cost will be minimal to cover costs of the food and drinks not to make a profit from. All family members are welcome and are encouraged to attend the event. Everyone must be registered to attend.

Brief Summary:
JOTA 2024 for Cubs, Joeys, Pre-Junior & Junior Guides at the Blue Mountains Amateur Radio Club (BMARC) rooms, 4 Moore Street Glenbrook. Two sessions will be held during the day – [Session 1: 9am-12:30pm – SOLD OUT] OR Session 2: 12:30pm-4pm – spaces are limited for each session. Parents and Leaders accompanying youth, must also register themselves on EMS.
What is JOTA? For decades, the annual Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) has brought together millions of Scouts and Guides around the world to connect through radio while building friendships, learning new skills, and discovering the international dimensions of Scouting/Guiding.
This GWS JOTA is being organised by Blue Mountains Scout Fellowship specifically for Cubs, Joeys and Pre-Junior/Junior Guides and will be hosted by the Blue Mountains Amateur Radio Club (BMARC), who will provide the equipment and expertise for the youth to experience Amateur Radio.

Port Stephens District JOTA Activity Day

Port Stephens District, 1st Tilligerry Scout Hall, Tanilba Bay NSW 2319
Port Stephens Amateur Radio Club – VK2DLP will operate their JOTA site from 1st Tilligerry Scout Hall, Tanilba Bay, NSW for the Joeys, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers of the Port Stephens District. Port Stephens District comprises Scout Groups from Anna Bay, Clarenece Town, Medowie, Nelson Bay, Raymond Terrace, Seaham and the Tilligerry Penisula (Lemon tree Passage and Tanilba Bay)
Port Stephens District is utilising the Port Stephens Amateur Radio Club (John Proctor VK2DLP-Secretary PSAMRC) in the provisions of amateur radio operators and equipment for our 2024 JOTA/JOTI weekend at 1st Tilligerry Scout Hall Tanilba Bay.
We will be holding day sessions between 10:00 and 15:00 Saturday and Sunday for those wishing to attend.
