A new website has been developed to welcome prospective families and leaders to the Scouting community!
Scouts NSW launched joinscouts.com.au, a new website. The primary goal of JoinScouts.com.au is to help prospective adults and families learn more about Scouting and opportunities for getting involved, and to submit an enquiry that can be followed up locally through our Region network. The website was launched to coincide with recruitment for the 2020 Scout year, and to simplify the enquiry process for interested families.

Radio and Cinemas Advertising
Keep your eyes and ears open for Scouts NSW radio and cinema commercials!
Nova 96.9, Smooth FM and Star 104.5 are playing Leader and Family ads to drive awareness and interest. The commercials will play until mid-December and again in February encouraging listeners to be a part of the 2020 Scout year!
In 22 cinemas and on countless more screens across NSW, prospective Leaders and families will get a glimpse into Scouting and all the fun we have! Cinema advertisements will run during the previews for children’s and family movies through the week of 6 January 2020. Make sure to get a ticket, and watch Scouting come to life on the big screen!
New Branding and Promotional Materials
We recently refreshed our suite of promotional materials to reflect our updated brand. The newest resource to Scout Groups is the Youth Member Brochure, which introduces all Sections in one easy to understand document!
A Promotional Pack with all of the new branding materials was recently sent out to each Scout Group in NSW. We’re excited to see how Groups utilise these resources as they grow in 2020!
Active Kids 2020
Get active with Scouts NSW!
Scouts NSW is an approved to be an Active Kids provider, and will accept Active Kids Vouchers in the 2020 Scouting year. Families can begin applying for their Active Kids vouchers from 1 January 2020.
