The new Scouts Australia Youth Program is here, and we are already seeing youth members from across NSW thrive in the vast opportunities that it offers! 77 Groups in NSW have already begun on this journey and we want your Group to be next.
We have created a handful of resources for you to use to ensure that you are ready to take on the next chapter in Australian Scouting – an adventurous, fun, challenging and inclusive Youth Program! Follow these steps below and you will see your youth thriving on the Program sooner than you ever thought:
1. Make sure each of your Sections has completed their The Adventure Begins Section Council Checklist. Check out these resources online here.
2. Complete a Scouts NSW New Youth Program Readiness Checklist. Designed to help you gauge if your Group is ready to support the Program and helps you think about when the best time for you is to begin your transition.
3. Fill in an application to Upskill to the new Youth Program here.
