The maintenance and upkeep of our wonderful Activity Centre and its surroundings is a vital part of ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all members, Leaders, and visitors.
To ensure the Centre is well maintained, our newly appointed Centre Manager is asking for member’s assistance at an upcoming working bee to undertake some overdue basic maintenance and upkeep tasks.
We always have a list of jobs on the ‘development’ list to undertake, but we need to get on top of the basics first.
Current tasks to be completed include:
- General tidying up both inside and outside the buildings
- Rubbish removal
- Painting
- Washing
- Garden restoration
- Water blasting
- Inside tidy ups
If you can spare some time between Thursday 20 – Sunday 23 January, please send Mitchell (our new Centre Manager) an email to register your interest. A BBQ Lunch will be provided, and we ask you to bring along a hat, gloves, and protective clothing.
To assist in managing the number of people and any COVID restrictions, we do ask you to please pre-register with Mitchell ([email protected]) before Friday 14 January 2022 and if there are only certain things you are able to do, please also let us know.
We welcome supervised Youth Members who are working towards their Peak Awards and looking for a service opportunity.
